I did a night dive last weekend. We dove the florence north jetty fish ladder, oregons first underwater park. It was a night dive at 8:30 pm, the air was 38degreesF, cold and clear. The water was 48F at depth and the viz was about 18 inches.

Went through with the dive and met my buddy again few a bit in the middle of the dive along with 30 inches of viz at 45 foot depth. Found him again at the exit point.

Seen lots of undersized crab, little sculpins, hermit crabs and a monkey eel. It was a great dive. We did a cleanup dive in a nearby lake.

Mmmm, 18 inches of vis. Well that won't talk me into staying in Oregon much longer :). We have decent weather in southern oregon this morning and I'm going to take my class to a river instead of one of our mudholes this coming weekend. We hope to have as much as 10 foot of vis, maybe even 15????

Oh life is good :)
