This is a company that has been practicing Full-Saturation Marketing over the past few years. It is almost impossible to open an Asian outdoor or scuba magazine without seeing an advert. So the question to divers not based in Asia is: Is this Hot or Not?

[They also carry a women's line but it's not quite as peacock-y as the men's version :p)

Cool,

I am not based in Asia, but I like the way that first on looks (the 5mm Power full). I always thought it would be really cool to have a completely black suit, with a skeleton printed on it. It would probablly be really tacky, but I still think I would like it. I also really like the camo wetsuits that seem to be popular with freedivers.

I vote for silly.

I don't need to wear a halloween skeleton costume when I dive.

Of course you don't need to, but why not have a little fun Sparky?

Ah, but I already have way more fun than mere mortal men. ;)

Skeleton? I was thinking more along the lines of Spiderman or Batman. These wetsuits need to come with a user guide:

*To assemble your own custom Superhero suit you'll need a brightly coloured towel for a cape, contrasting neoprene booties & speedos....* :p *Additional purchase of the new Poseidon Backplate harness with that huge round buckle is also highly reccomended to complete the look!* :D

Silly yes, but it still seems to impress!
Overheard in the Ladies room on a recent trip to the Bahamas:
"Wow! The view has improved!"
"What...from last time?"
"Since the shop brought in those new wetsuits, all the old-men butts now look like decent-butts...." :p

I recognize that backplate from Our World Underwater Show in Chicago last year.....now used on the Cis-Lunar Mk VI as seen hanging off my backside from the DEMA show this October.

I don't think a tight suit can make am overweight guy look like his backside is BAM! I'll stick with mountain biking.

I don't think the ladies were refering to "nice" butts but rather the optical illusion of non-nausea-inducing butts :p

If I can get a batman or spiderman wetsuit, I am on it! ha ha ...

How about fins with those little light up LEDS like the sneakers little kids wear! That would be wicked!

Being stuck in the showroom during a typhoon & having access to all sorts of bits & bobs, I briefly considered pimping my reg with swarovski crystals but was unsure of how that would affect service & warranty :p

If anyone's interested, I can make your reg match one of the suits above :p

Damn, with a thread title like that I was expecting to see a bit more than just wetsuits :p My wetsuit is delegated to sump duty, so it really does not matter what it starts it life looking like  Got to admit though, those designs do look like a good match for some hoods I have seen used by Japaneese divers.

Are we moving away from boring black? Are prints becoming the "in" thing?

Here are some more suits:

Well, I was on a dive boat last summer and one of the lady divers did something similar. She had her mask frame and entire tube of her snorkle trimmed out in beads and gems (I hope fake ones). Looked very nifty topside, but underwater, looked horrible.

The wetsuits look cool, but basic black is still the new black.

The really cool thing was when a group from another dive boat swam by in the opposite direction!

I don't have a source for the fins, but the Spiderman wetsuit I can get for you. Do you want me to send a measuring chart so you can order it?
