Nice dive video. I love to see video of wreck dives.

Looks like the entire wreck is covered with Zebra Muscles.

Can you tell us some more info on the dive location and on the wreck itself.

I will subscribe to your videos on You Tube.

Nice. :) So how are the Kingston wrecks? We do Brockville on the long weekends mostly b/c those are "family" weekends and the kids go diving too. Haven't been able to make it out to our Kingston trip b/c the guys do it mid-week :P

This summer, we need to get a group Great Lakes trip going. I know there are a lot of members that dive the Lakes on a regular basis. Many of us live within a reasonable driving distance as well.

I had actually suggested that to Seasnake by PM. Didn't want to take the wind out of the sail of the current SMN trip being planned :p

Am ready when you are ;)

I don't do cold water diving anymore "for security reasons", lol, so if you all want to do a group trip in to your area, select an organizer, you can plan things here with all interested, and have a go at it. :)

Sure thing. After summer rolls around and I get word that the water temps are warm enough for the majority of divers, I will start to get things together.

I know a few of us had discussed this before privately, so we will work together to get everything panned out. I will try to make something that is very reasonable, but will still offer something for everyone. I know that some of you have family that may not dive, so I will take all of that into consideration.

If anyone has any info they would like to share, just send me a PM.

The dive season in Southern Ontario officially kicks off Memorial Day weekend. However, the weather on that weekend has always been notoriously unreliable -- freak winter storms or a sweltering mid-August type day -- so be prepared!

Tom,
can you share an overview of the diving conditions in Kingston so our American friends can know what to expect?

Lake Ontario conditions in the Kingston area change through out the diving season;

Vis ranges from 20 to 70 feet depending on time of year and water temperatures.
Temperatures 32 in the winter :) to 70 in the fall
little or no current on 95% of the wrecks
Majority of the wrecks in Nitrox 32% range

Here's a little motivational poster for you to dream about diving in Lake Ontario

Kingston is my absolute most favourite place to dive, and Tom is definitely a wonderful host!

Here are a couple of links to a couple of my favourite Ktown wrecks!
